Modernité Noire is a unique collection of iron sculptures that both venerates and critically examines Le Corbusier’s designs from the 1920s. Some of his most emblematic houses and villas from this Purist period are recast in solid iron, on a scale of 1:200, by the sculptor Roger Guillem. The surface rust patina in an integral design feature, adding to the uniqueness of each numbered piece.

Modernité Noire also gives name to a design studio based in Barcelona and directed by Enric Llorach
